Richard Ferry joined the Board of SPSA in 2023 and he is excited to help further the mission of this wonderful school. A strong believer in Catholic Education, and himself a graduate of a Catholic high school, Richard is passionate about ensuring that all who desire a Catholic education have the opportunity to obtain one.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Richard grew up in the DFW area and in Florida. He returned to Dallas where he attended Southern Methodist University, earning a BA in History and Religious Studies and an MA in American History. Richard also has an MBA from Baylor University.
Professionally, Richard serves as the Director of Development at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Farmers Branch. In this capacity, he is responsible for all fundraising efforts of the church, in addition to managing numerous capital improvements projects for both the church and the school. Prior to his current position, Richard worked at Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep in their Corporate Work Study Program. Richard began his career in the corporate world, where he held several positions in business development, relationship management and sales operations.
Richard is married to his amazing wife, Nancy, and they have two wonderful children, Davis and Veronica. Their Australian shepherd, Finn, and their 8 chickens round out their household. Richard and his family are active members of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
